Aula Carolina

The former monastery church Aula Carolina looks back on a long and eventful history. The building was first mentioned in the 13th century and the foundation stone for the building that still stands today was laid on 11 May 1663.
 

After extensive refurbishment in 1980, it now serves as a school auditorium for the Kaiser-Karls-Gymnasium. Outside of school hours, the Aula Carolina can be used for a variety of events. On a floor area of 570 square metres with a foyer and cloakroom, cocktail receptions for up to 665 people and seated dinners for up to 220 people can be held. The unique backdrop of the monastery church can be wonderfully intensified by appropriate lighting and is a guarantee for unforgettable events.
