The location for congresses and more
K20 on Grabbeplatz is the so-called new building of the three houses of the Kunstsammlung Nordrhein-Westfalen. It opened in 1986 and is now both an art museum and a venue for events. In addition to its permanent collection of 20th and 21st century art, it also hosts temporary exhibitions. K20's largest venue is the Trinkaus Auditorium, which is ideal for conferences, panel discussions and lectures.
Trinkaus Auditorium
The Trinkaus Auditorium is located on the upper floor of the K20 and can be hired all day, every day of the week. With a total size of 230 square metres and permanently integrated ascending seating, it is a classic lecture hall with space for around 320 people.
Upper foyer
Directly in front of the Trinkaus Auditorium is the large foyer, which can also be hired all day from Monday to Sunday. The freely available space is ideal as a catering area or for product presentations. Stand-up receptions for up to 150 people, smaller lectures and press conferences for up to 80 people can be held here.
Lower foyer
The foyer on the ground floor of the museum covers a total of 700 square metres and impresses with its spacious area, which offers great opportunities for events. For example, standing receptions for up to 300 people can be organised here. A special highlight is the special guided tour that can be booked for guests through this magnificent museum.
