Dinner at K21 - a three-act play

Just in time for the 'Golden Hour', lemonpie welcomed the 120 invited guests with the finest cava and delicious finger food under the glass dome of the Ständehaus: the first culinary moment of the evening was accompanied by an enchanting view of the sky offered by the grandiose architecture of Düsseldorf's K21.

The subsequent guided tour of the fascinating exhibition by Beijing-born media artist Cao Fei was a successful centrepiece and guaranteed stimulating communication.

The Spanish 'cena' on the piazza was the grand finale. Surrounded by the most beautiful floral decorations and furnished with Vitra classics, the DSW chairs, the 3-course menu impressed the guests with wonderful specialities: From the fresh wild herb salad to the classic tortilla, date chorizo cream, Iberico pork loin and cheek, rosemary polenta, paprika confit and the tempting almond cake with orange ice cream and caramel cream, there were no limits to the culinary delights. The exquisite selection of Spanish wines, Aljoscha Höhn's moderation throughout the evening and Arved Fuchs' high-calibre presentation rounded off the event and made it a resounding success.
