Sustainable catering at DEUTZ AG's big street food festival
It was a real pleasure for us to provide culinary support for the street food festival for DEUTZ AG employees at the former production site in Cologne-Deutz. To mark the 160th anniversary of the world's leading manufacturer of innovative drive systems, this special event was celebrated with an appropriate food concept and well-known artists.

An international street food market designed by us spoiled around 3,500 guests with a wide range of culinary delights - from trendy currywurst variations with chips to falafel and pinse, Asian specialities, waffles and crêpes to frozen yoghurt.

Focus on sustainability: lemonpie sets standards
We paid particular attention to the issue of sustainability: under the event format 'ZERO WASTE - PURE PLEASURE', we exclusively used the PAPSTAR 'pure' range. With an intelligent two-part return logistics system via return stations, the used disposable tableware is collected and sent to the bio-converter. There it is converted into valuable secondary raw materials for the production of industrial cardboard or new corn cups. So not only is it biodegradable and recyclable, it is also returned to the material cycle.
