20 years of lemonpie - let's celebrate!
It's time to celebrate: On 9 August, we proudly celebrated our 20th anniversary. The past two decades have been peppered with unique events, wonderful moments, great locations, unforgettable encounters and major challenges.
We can look back on an eventful company history, which began in 1993 with a fine café in Bad Münstereifel run by the current lemonpie managing director and master confectioner Johannes Molderings. Over time, the first enquiries for smaller catering events came in, which then increased and opened up a new branch of the business: lemonpie was born. Since then, things have gone steadily uphill. We expanded and made a good name for ourselves in the market. Exclusive locations in Euskirchen, Aachen, Cologne, Düsseldorf and Neuss signed up and we have been catering for them with creative culinary food concepts ever since. ‘Our magic formula is outstanding and consistent quality, which is transformed into customised creations with a great deal of passion and curiosity,’ says Johannes Molderings, explaining our success.
lemonpie's future will continue to take place in the NRW region and the question of succession and the next 20 years has also been more or less answered: The two daughters Hanna and Pia show a lot of fun in event catering, contribute with young, fresh ideas and look forward to the dynamics that the industry brings with it.
