On 23 August 2021, celebrities from the worlds of politics, business and culture gathered at Düsseldorf Racecourse to celebrate the 75th birthday of the state of North Rhine-Westphalia. Of course, lemonpie was not to be missed: During the 10 or so days of set-up and dismantling, we not only spoiled the entire crew with fresh, regional buffets and sweet snacks in keeping with corona, we also placed 500 pretty lunch bags in the stands on the day of the event with small, culinary snacks and delighted the VIPs before and after the official stage programme with our colourful canapé variations. We are delighted to have been able to present our German Chancellor Angela Merkel, Ghana's President Nana Akufo-Addo, NRW Minister President Armin Laschet, star violinist David Garrett, jazz trumpeter Till Brönner and the WDR Symphony Orchestra with a taste of our expertise ... Our team was finally ‘on the road’ again and is highly motivated for the next big birthdays!
